Dr. Joseph Janosky

Chief Consultant


Dr. Janosky is an internationally-recognized expert in the field of sports injury prevention. Serving as the Chief Consultant at Yellow Finch, he brings nearly 35 years of clinical experience as a sports physiotherapist, athletic trainer, and exercise scientist to athlete health promotion and injury prevention program development. 


An alumnus of the University of Scranton, where he began his allied health training as a physiotherapist, Dr. Janosky also earned  degrees in athletic training and exercise science at Marywood University and California University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he completed his doctoral degree in public health from Walden University, highlighting his commitment to lifelong learning and the application of population health principles in reducing the risk of sports-related injuries. 


He has worked with sports organizations and athletes all levels of sport, published a wide variety of research studies in high-impact scientific journals, and delivered dozens of  presentations at sports medicine and public health conferences throughout the United States and around the world.
